motorsport

I have followed motorsport in general but Grand Prix racing in particular from the late 1960’s to the present day. However I stopped attending in the early nineties as I felt I was being kept farther and farther away from the action and being required to pay more for the privilege.

On the way I attended many European GP’s and enjoyed a freedom of access the like of which today’s average punter cannot conceive. In those days of course a” selfie “(why would you want them anyway??) did not exist. We were of course very happy to have unfettered access to photograph our heroes, but the drivers team managers owners etc. were quite happy to answer honestly and freely any sensible questions one may ask.

Happy days gone forever!!!
